Prints on sale at Wicken Fen
Building on the success of my first solo exhibition at the beginning of November 2008, I'm pleased to say that some of my work is now on display/sale at the National Trust's Wicken Fen Nature Reserve here in Cambridgeshire.
Wicken Fen is one of Britain's oldest nature reserves and I have been birding and watching/photographing the wildlife there for more than 30 years. It's therefore very satisfying to now have some of my photos on display in the cafe and on sale in the shop.
The National Trust has plans to extend the reserve to some 10,000 acres over the next 100 years. But with more than 1,000 species of moth and butterfly, 1,000 species of beetle, almost 2,000 different flies, 20 dragonflies, 29 mammals and over 200 species of bird having been identified on the Fen, Wicken is already well worth a visit for any nature lover and looks set to become one of the largest and most important nature reserves in the UK.
