After seeing the Hare in photo BH 01 I returned to the balancing pond before dawn the next morning and placed my portable dome hide near to where I'd first seen the Hare the previous day. Sure enough, soon after first light the Hare came along and stopped right in front of my hide to sniff the air (or me perhaps!)
This has been one of my most popular images and a framed A4 version of this photo featured in the 'Mad March Hares' Exhibition at Haddenham Galleries, near Ely during March 2009
